Star Catcher is an original lightweight game created by MEST for Dayhop. Catch 25 golden stars in 45 seconds. Avoid red meteors. Missed stars and meteor hits cost a shield; four lost shields end the flight. Move beneath a star early, then watch the next arrival. Chasing an unreachable star can leave the catcher out of position. Catches increase the score; both missed stars and meteor hits cost shields. The interface is in English. All code, graphics, and optional synthesized sound run locally, without accounts, remote assets, or online APIs. The shared controls offer start, pause, restart, and a best score stored only in this browser. Clearing site data removes that record. A different browser or device has its own score. The controls support keyboard, mouse, and touch, with a layout that reflows on phones and tablets.
