Star Rift: Assault is an original space shooter by MEST. Its combat revolves around choosing a weapon system and adapting the fighter as enemy formations change. The arsenal includes a rapid-firing autocannon, a close-range spread weapon, an armor-piercing railgun, guided missiles, a continuous beam, chain lightning, returning blades, and a heavy plasma cannon. Between encounters, upgrade modules can improve damage, rate of fire, armor, movement, shields, targeting, or resource collection. The build also offers active tools such as an electromagnetic pulse, a temporary prism shield, an orbital strike, or drone support. Those choices make a run about matching equipment to the problem ahead: concentrated armor may favor piercing damage, while a dense formation gives area or chain effects more targets. The game includes route and wave information, so looking ahead can make a limited resource or support ability more useful. Its title, weapon descriptions, and interface are in Chinese in the original release; this English detail page summarizes the combat systems without changing the game's text. Star Rift is MEST's original work and is marked all rights reserved. The game files load from MEST’s external host when you select Start game.
Follow the in-game control guide to steer and fire, then equip a weapon that suits the next encounter. Collect resources from defeated enemies, choose upgrades between fights, and activate the selected support tool when its effect will matter. Check the route preview before committing to a weapon or module.
Use weapons for their stated role: spread fire is strongest nearby, railguns pierce lines, and chain weapons benefit from clustered enemies. Pair an upgrade with the weapon it improves, and keep a defensive option available when the next wave is uncertain. Save a screen-clearing support ability for a crowded or dangerous moment rather than spending it on a small group.
