Cookies and browser storage

Dayhop does not intentionally set cookies for its catalog features. The Dayhop catalog has no account, advertising, or analytics systems; embedded releases have their own storage and hosting behavior. This statement concerns the current site behavior and does not describe a future hosting provider's configuration.

Local records

Favorites and Recently Played use localStorage, which is separate from cookies and is not automatically sent with HTTP requests. The 13 local mini games may keep settings or progress under Dayhop’s origin. The 19 embedded games may store records under their own game hosts; browsers may partition or block that embedded storage. These records stay in this browser and do not synchronize through an account.

Files and external links

Game covers and mini-game files load from Dayhop. After you select Start game, externally hosted releases load inside the page from the listed MEST game domain. That host receives network requests and may use cookies or storage according to its configuration; Dayhop does not assert that every external release sets no cookies. Original-release and credit links also contact external sites.

Managing storage

Clear Favorites or Recently Played using their page controls. Game reset or export controls vary by title. Browser site settings can clear all stored data for this origin, including game saves. Back up progress first where an export is available. Earlier saves from Dayhop-hosted copies do not automatically appear at external game domains. Clearing Dayhop data does not necessarily clear records belonging to an external game domain; manage those domains in your browser settings too. See the Privacy Policy for hosting and storage details.
