Accessibility
Our aim
Dayhop aims to make its own catalog pages usable with a keyboard, browser zoom, and common assistive technology. This statement applies to the Dayhop interface: the navigation, game directory, guides, and information pages. The games run in their own frames, using either local mini-game files or MEST’s external game hosts, and their accessibility can vary by title.
Using the site
- Use Tab and Shift + Tab to move through links, fields, and buttons. A visible focus indicator marks the active control.
- The first keyboard stop is a Skip to content link, which bypasses the repeated navigation.
- The catalog search and category filters work with the keyboard. After filtering, the number of matching games is announced to assistive technology.
- The layout is designed to reflow on narrow screens and at browser zoom. You can use your browser's standard zoom controls without creating an account.
Games
The 32 MEST originals include 13 locally hosted mini games and 19 externally embedded releases. Some support keyboard or touch, some are desktop-only, and some may not work well with a screen reader or a particular browser. Each game page lists the expected controls and device support before the frame. If a game does not work for you, use its Source Plate to visit the original release or provider.
Known limits and feedback
We continue to check the site interface as the catalog changes. Send accessibility reports to [email protected], following the guidance on the Contact page. Please include the page URL, browser or device, assistive technology if relevant, and a short description of the problem.
