Controls and fullscreen play
Find the right input and give each game room to play.
Start with the game page
Every Dayhop game page lists controls and device notes before you load the game. Select Start game to load the game in its frame. Thirteen mini games use local files; nineteen larger releases connect to their external game hosts. Click or tap inside its frame before using keyboard controls, so the game receives your input. Sound may also need that first interaction.
Choose an input
Toy Parade Racer uses W or Up to accelerate, arrows or A/D to steer, Shift to drift, and Space to use an item. Qinglan Snake Garden uses keyboard steering on desktop; its mouse operates menus, not the snake. Fresh Cut Moment instead uses a held pointer and a slicing gesture.
Touch controls vary by game. Read the individual device note, and follow any orientation prompt. A narrow browser window is not a substitute for checking a physical touchscreen.
Make room for the game
After loading, select Fullscreen in the Dayhop toolbar. Press Esc to leave browser fullscreen. Some games also provide their own fullscreen or landscape control; orientation locking depends on the browser and device. Browser F11 expands the window rather than only the game frame.
If input stops
Check for a pause screen, tutorial, dialog, or orientation prompt. Refocus the frame before trying a key again. Changing tabs or rotating the device may pause a game intentionally. Reload restarts the runtime; save progress first where the game offers that option.
